For more than 75 years, health and safety have been the guiding principles for every program offered at Camp Talooli. We view our campers, staff, and alumni as family and our decisions are forever guided by what is in our collective best interest. During these uncertain times our thoughts are with our large extended camp family and those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to New York State executive orders, child care services have been identified as essential. It is Camp Talooli's intention to prepare for full operation this summer, meeting the needs of our families and community. We have been and will continue to be in contact with the NYS Health Department, the American Camp Association (ACA), and the Centers for Disease Control. These agencies are working in concert with childrens’ camps around the nation to develop a plan, and we will be implementing procedures based on their guidance.
For the time being, all of our policies remain in effect. However, should the coronavirus prohibit us from offering some or all of our summer program, our refund policy will be modified to provide a full refund to those registered campers that are impacted.
This summer may not look like all the summers that have come before or any of the summers that will come after. What we do know is that Talooli plays a vital role in the lives of campers, their families, and alumni. Regardless of the outcome of this pandemic, Camp Talooli will still be here for you and yours. At this time, we are taking the necessary steps to determine how we can best serve our community in these extraordinary times.
