Talooli Expeditions offers educational tours to teens and their parents. The mission of the Talooli Expeditions program is to provide youth with the opportunity to travel to and experience different types of culture and ecology. In addition to the educational experience of the trip, participants spend a day giving back to the National Park that they have visited by engaging in community service. All expeditions are led by Jan and Jeff Peneston, who have been leading and educating youth at Camp Talooli since 1984. Trips typically last 7-11 days and occur during the winter and/or spring school breaks. Previous expeditions have brought students to the US Virgin Islands to experience Caribbean island life and coral reef ecology, as well as the American Southwest to venture into the desert and canyons (Grand Canyon, Bryce, Zion, etc).
